2016 Idaho Winery of the Year
Telaya Wine Co. was founded as a way to blend the love of family and friends with the enjoyment of wine. Owners and winemakers, Earl and CarrieSullivan, focus on providing hand-crafted high quality wine combined with unmatched customer hospitality. Believing in spotlighting the varietals that both states produce, the Sullivan’s are proud to acquire grapes from Red Mountain and Yakima in Washington and the Sunnyslope Wine Region in Idaho. Having been named Idaho’s Winery of 2016 by Wine Press Northwest and opening a brand new tasting room and production facility on the Boise River, this is only the beginning of Telaya’s wine journey.
WARD HOOPER ’87
Ward Hooper is a popular local artist and has a BFA in advertising design from Boise State. He was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and he is owner and president of The Art of Ward Hooper Gallery. He has contributed illustrations for such clients as Albertson’s Inc., Micron Technology, Smith Sport Optics and Hewlett Packard. Several of Ward’s works are permanent features of the Boise Public Arts Collection. He points to a love of history and classic advertising as a motivating factor in his art.
