Faculty, Staff and Emeriti Membership

Connect. Engage. Celebrate.

Boise State faculty, staff and emeritus can stay connected to the Bronco family while helping fund critical programs for students, alumni and faculty by purchasing a Boise State Alumni Association membership. We sponsor and support 200+ events and program each year. You do not have to be a Boise State graduate to join — all members of the Bronco family are welcome!

Critical Programs share your message, celebrate your accomplishments, and keep connected.

IK Endowed Scholarship

The Boise State Impact Scholars Program promotes college success of students from foster care. The program addresses the under-representation and underachievement of students with foster care experience in higher education. Research shows that young adults who have spent time in the foster care system are more likely to have difficulty earning a college degree. Idaho statistics reveal that 80% of foster care youth want to attend college, however only 7% are able to enroll and only 3% graduate. The Intercollegiate Knights and the Boise State Impact Scholars Program are re-writing these statistics. Alumni association membership dues help to support this fund.

Alumni Legacy Scholarship Program

The Alumni Legacy Scholarship is a four-year, renewable scholarship for incoming freshman available to the relative of a Boise State alumna or alumnus, who is a current member of the Boise State Alumni Association. The scholarship amount is equal to in-state fees during the fall and spring semester. It was established by the Boise State Alumni Association in 2003 to celebrate family traditions of attending Boise State University. The fund has generated more than $2.3 million in funds since its inception. Alumni association membership dues and the Boise State Auction help to support this fund.

Chapters and Bronco Contacts

Bronco Contacts are the link between the Alumni Association, the university, and the people in their communities. Bronco Contacts are individual alumni scattered throughout the world who want to host a Bronco activity or two in their area.

Alumni chapters can be created to connect alumni by region, by social interest, or by professional or academic discipline. All chapters are created under the Alumni Association umbrella and are designed to support the missions of the University and the Boise State Alumni Association.

Distinguished Alumni Award Gala

Every year, the Alumni Association honors excellence by bestowing a number of awards to our extraordinary alumni changing the world in their chosen professional fields and/or personal endeavors. These individuals exemplify the loyalty, passion, and innovation found in all great Broncos. Honorees are recognized at the annual Distinguished Alumni Awards Gala the Friday before Homecoming.
