Classes of 1967–68 50-year Reunion Planned for Homecoming

We are celebrating too! It was our 50-year anniversary all year — and the special classes of 1967 and 1968s 50 years ago that the class of 1967 walked across the stage to receive the first four-year degrees granted at Boise State University. These alumni helped with the transition of Boise State from a two-year college to a four-year university. A dedicated group of alumni from the classes of 1967 and 1968 are leading a 50-year reunion planning committee. Bill Ilett ’67, and Dyke Nally ’69 are co-chairing the committee with plans for a weekend full of Homecoming activities on Nov. 3-4.

Celebrate 50 Years with Us

Celebrate 50 Years with Us

This year marks a special milestone for the Boise State University Alumni Association as well as Boise State University’s history. In 2017 we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Alumni Association, as well as the Class of 1967 who was the first to graduate from Boise State University with a four-year degree. Those alumni experienced the transition from when our institution went from Boise Junior College to Boise State University. In addition, many of these alumni also were instrumental in forming the Alumni Association. Visit our special micro-site to revisit our history, connect and engage with other alumni, share your story and see how we can celebrate this amazing milestone together!
