Join the Alumni Association Today and Support Impact Scholars

For 50 years the alumni association has shared stories of creating legacies of alumni and students making a difference in our community and around the nation. But we are not done! With our 50/50 campaign, the alumni association has a campaign goal to raise $50,000 to assist the Intercollegiate Knights Chapter with endowing the new Intercollegiate Knights Endowed Scholarship while at the same time increasing membership and donations to alumni programs and services by 50%.

Become a member and donate today! Join the alumni association as an annual member for $50 a year and be part of our goal to increase annual memberships by 50%, then help create new legacies by donating $50 to help endow the Intercollegiate Knights Endowed Scholarship. Click the orange button below to join or the blue button to view member benefits.

Are you already a member of the alumni association? Thank you! Current members can make a special $50 anniversary gift to the scholarship as well, simply click the orange button below to donate.

Chapters are formed as affiliate organizations of the Boise State Alumni Association and can be created either because of geographic location, through social affinity, or by professional or academic interest. An application to start a chapter is made to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. All chapters are created under the Alumni Association umbrella and are designed to support the missions of the University and the Boise State Alumni Association.

Bronco Contacts are individuals scattered throughout the world who want to host a Bronco activity or two in an area that doesn’t have enough alumni to support a full chapter. Each Bronco Contact agrees to serve as the communication link between the Boise State Alumni Association and alumni in the area. Each Bronco Contact is listed on the Boise State Alumni website and receives newsletters, periodic information and updates from the office.

Join the Alumni Board of Directors

collage of alumni board of directors membersThe Boise State Alumni Board of Directors is comprised of up to 30 voting members and seven officers: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Past President, and two Ad Hoc members. Directors are required to: Maintain current dues paying status in the Boise State Alumni Association, regularly attend all quarterly board of directors meetings, actively participate on at least one association board committee, attend significant Alumni Association-sponsored events like the Distinguished Alumni Awards Gala, the annual Member Appreciation BBQ, the Top Ten Scholar Award, the biennial Boise State Auction Gala, Grad Fairs, and student events.

The nominating committee accepts names and background information of potential directors by the end of February of each year. The committee screens applications and presents a slate of directors and officers to the board for approval at its annual meeting in May.
