Giving Guidelines
Boise State Alumni Association is most likely to support:

Education The Boise State Alumni Association prefers to support educational
programs targeted at students to support their pursuit of higher education.
We Give to K-12 Education to:- Increase student achievement.
- Make learning relevant through connections with everyday life and future careers.
- Inspire students to pursue higher education.
- Further learning through after school programs.

Community
Boise State Alumni Association is committed to enhancing our partner communities. We support charities located in communities with direct ties to the Association. In many cases we may predetermine which organizations we support in a given year. -
Eligibility
- School districts and school district foundations (Note: Foundations must have 501(c)(3) public charity status. Private foundations are not eligible.)
- Charter school foundations and private school foundations (Note: Foundations must have 501(c)(3) public charity status. Private foundations are not eligible.)

Nonprofit organizations:
- That work on-site with public and private education institutions or that work with public and private education institutions on a project basis
- AND have 501(c)(3) public charity status
Restrictions
The Boise State Alumni Association does not grant:
- Requests from organizations without a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status or those who do not use funds received for public purposes.
- Individuals
- Religious organizations regardless of faith, unless the project benefits the community, such as a school.
- Political candidates or lobbying organizations
- Organizations with a limited constituency, such as fraternal, labor or veteran's groups.
- Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, or gender
BOISE STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION Charitable Contributions Application Procedures
- Nonprofit organizations interested in requesting in-kind or product donations should fill out the Donation Form.
- Applications are accepted from August-May and are reviewed on a continuous basis. Expect a one-month review time.
- Requests granted in any one year are not assured of future funding. If renewed funding is desired, the organization should submit an additional application.
