Karen Kelsch Memorial Scholarship
The Karen Kelsch Memorial Scholarship was established in memory of Karen Kelsch, a 27 year staff member at Boise State University. She spent four years working in the Dean's office for the College of Health Sciences before accepting a Management position for the Dean in the College of Social Science and Public Affairs. Karen went back to school as a non-traditional student while she worked full time at Boise State. In 1990 she completed her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Administrative Services. In her honor this scholarship assists Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) students pursuing the BGS degree as non-traditional students. This degree is part of the AfterWork program at Boise State. Any Bachelor of General Studies student taking 6 or more credits is eligible to apply for the scholarship. Students must have a current GPA of 3.0 and be at least junior status.
