Welcome: The Boise State Forensics Alumni Chapter welcomes
alumni, friends, and fans of the Talking Broncos. Our social chapter will be chartered with
the intent to provide an outlet for former debaters to reconnect, to support our current students,
and to build strong financial support for the future of the forensics program at Boise State.

To recieve emails and invitations about upcoming events and Talking Bronco news, update Your Information P.S. ... if you didn't finish your degree or even attend Boise State, you can still support the chapter as a Friend of Boise State Forensics.

Boise State Forensics Hall of Fame:
The inaugural class of the Boise State University Forensics Hall of Fame was
inducted April 19, 2009, at the annual Pi Kappa Delta banquet. The three honorees were:
- Dr. Eugene B. Chaggee, president of Boise Junior College and later Boise College, who founded the debate program in 1937 and served as its first coach.
- Roderick E. Walston who debated with distinction at Boise Junior College before earning a BA at Columbia and JD at Stanford and embarking on an extraordinarily successful legal career in California
- Professor Emeritus C. Harvey Pitman who coached the forensics team during the transition from a private junior college to a public four-year institution and guided the team to its first national award as a four-year institution at the 1967 National Tournament.
The Forensics Alumni Chapter's Board of Directors will elect up to three members to the Forensics Hall of Fame Each Year.
- Nominations are accepted from any Forensics Alumni Chapter member.
- Nominees must be at least five years removed from direct involvement with the forensics program to be eligible.
- Individuals can be nominated in the catergories of "Outstanding Forensics Competitior," "Outstanding Lifetime Achievement," or "Outstanding Service to the Forensics Program or Forensics Education."
- In addition, outstanding Boise State teams can be inducted.
