Bronco Alumni Chapters
Chapters are formed as affiliate organizations of the Boise State Alumni Association and can be created either because of geographic location, through social affinity, or by professional or academic interest. An application to start a chapter is made to the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. All chapters are created under the Alumni Association umbrella and are designed to support the missions of the University and the Boise State Alumni Association.
Regional Chapters can be chartered anywhere in the world where a large group of energetic Broncos live.
Professional Chapters are created when alumni are interested in getting together through their professional or academic affiliation. Examples of professional groups which might come together to charter a chapter include accountants, biology majors, Boeing employees, and social work professionals. Construction Management chartered an official alumni chapter in 2003.
Social Chapters are created around special interests or social affiliations. Examples of groups that might come together to create an alumni chapter include former band members, former ASBSU leaders, and graduates who were members of student service organizations. Intercollegiate Knights and Talking Broncos are both recognized social alumni chapters at Boise State.
