strong>Service Project: Boise Urban Garden School (BUGS)
When: Saturday, May 17, 2008, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Meet at Wright Community UCC Church, 4821 Franklin Road, Boise 83705 (back of church property)
What: Bring your garden gloves, rakes, shovels, and your sun screen. We’ll be spreading bark among other garden jobs.

As a welcome to our new alumni, the Boise State Alumni Association is offering a small celebration for 2008 graduates right outside entrance 3 of the Taco Bell Arena&ellip; the first stop for commencement. The celebration will feature free breakfast, music, and a last chance prep station. Graduates are encouraged to come a few minutes early to enjoy the festivities on Saturday, May 17 from 8-9:30am.

When: June 21, 2008 (Race starts at 8:30 a.m., Grill Time 11:00 a.m.)
What: Ocean's Edge 5K Beach Race and BSU Alumni BBQ
Where: Beach by D River Wayside and Kyllo’s Restaurant (1110 NW 1st Ct., Lincoln City, OR 97367)
Cost: $15 for race; $25 for race and t-shirt. Add $5 for day-of-race registration

BBQ Details: Following the Ocean's Edge Run we will gather on the beach for a little fun in the sun and sand.
Location: on the beach by the race finish line. Look for the Blue and Orange as we are not able to reserve a section of the beach.
Details: We ask that anyone coming bring whatever you want to grill, a side dish to share,and your own drinks. We'll fire up the grill at 11:00 or as soon as the race finishes. Bring the kids, the kites, and the beach toys

Service Project: Policeman's Float
When: Tuesday, June 24, 2008, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Where: Meet at Cascade Raft Company, 7050 Hwy 55, 5 miles N of Horseshoe Bend (between mile marker 70 & 71)
What: Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to keep the sun off! We’ll be helping serve lunch to the kids.
